not sleeping anymore

when we kissed then

I wanted to ask you several questions
while i was undressing you
“why is there so much pain between us”
for example,
but it didn’t seem appropriate.
Your eyes were closed (always)
so it was difficult to tell if you could hear me
(anyway)
your lips held some tension
when i kissed them.
“Do you remember when it felt like a hot bath”
(for example)
when we kissed then.
It was difficult to attain that same position
(your upper lip between mine)
when your lips were cold and unresponsive
it felt like nothing.
So i repeated myself again
kissing the lips several times
to keep
feeling
nothing.
